BT set date for ISDN switch off

BT set date for ISDN switch off

Posted on February 02 2017

BT has announced plans to migrate all of their existing ISDN customers to a single, core IP network by 2025.

As one of the leading business communications providers in the UK, this change will obviously affect a lot of businesses - possibly yours.  There is no need for immediate panic though, as BT has confirmed it will continue to support and maintain all existing ISDN connections leading up to that date.

SIP telephony is a great opportunity for businesses to unlock a series of benefits, including cost savings, enhanced functionality, scalability and greater mobility.

Digital Telecom is an IP communications expert.  That means we are in the best possible position to help you plan ahead, make the transition from ISDN, as well as considering the right solution for your existing and future business requirements.

Even though SIP has been available for 15 years and lots of businesses have already switched over, there are still many that haven’t.  Did you know that the majority of existing telephone systems will support SIP, and there are some great deals on SIP rental and calls available right now?

If you’re interested in finding out more about these deals, and other added benefits associated with IP telephony, give us a call.
